Number 5
The Flea

A FleaThe flea was responsible for the spread of the Bubonic Plague. In fact, the bubonic plague caused the black death which wiped out a third of the human population of Europe in the 1340s. You see, a flea would bite an infected rat. Then, due to the neglect of sanitation back then, the now infected flea would bite several humans causing them to get infected. Its powerful hind legs allow it to jump up to 200 times its body length making it one of the best jumpers in the animal kingdom, second only to the froghopper.
