A Timber Wolf HowlingThe timber wolf, also known as the gray wolf, is a very social animal. They most often travel in packs of about eight wolves, usually consisting of families of wolves- a male, female, and their offspring. Wolves also use body language to communicate that can show many emotions- from anger, submission, and fear to relaxation, happiness, and even playfulness! Attacks on humans are most often caused by inability to hunt for their natural prey.
